Second Year Introduction to Gases

Introduced the new topic ‘The Gases in the Air’.  Had a class discussion on what a gas is.  Showed a few videos introducing Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen.  The first video is fun and shows an interesting little oxgen charecter.  The rest of the videos have some good parts and bad.  The rather silly looking chemistry teacher (who is a bit boring) got fast forward.  The more interesting bits are those with the guy in the green coat.

Pupils wrote the tests for these three gases in their jotter.
